AROMIN - So where did we really originate from?
September 25, 2010
of thSO WHERE DID WE REALLY ORIGINATED FROM? That's a question needed to be answered, right? Last year, I conducted a quantitative statistics approach on this concern. Well, we are all AROMINS, and the moment we marry someone who is an AROMIN, we automatically become part of them, thus, we are part of the clan. During the three-month period of my inquiry, my data shows that 77% says they hail from LA UNION, 8% says from NUEVA ECIJA, 3% says from PANGASINAN;
Let's just say, majority wins, and we originated from LA UNION, my 2nd data shows that of the 77% respondents from LA UNION, specifically detailed 38% of them from Baccuit Sur & 40% from Quinavite, Bauang and the 12% comes from various nearby towns;
About our clansmates in facebook responding from other provinces which they hailed from, it only shows that we are wide spreading, and even though our last name is not as popular as DE GUZMAN, SANTOS, REYES, RAMOS or DELA CRUZ, which are all an almost household comnon last name, we striis ve to be genuinely recognizable. Who knows General Saulito Aromin of the Philippine Air Force or Philippine Navy, I think? I'm not sure which of the two, but I heard the man's name, and I was told by my father, he is from La Union. And I was amazed by the massive concentration of AROMINs as well in NUEVA ECIJA & QUEZON PROVINCE, even as far as CEBU & SULTAN KUDARAT. I have no idea how they reached there, but one member of the AROMIN CLAN in facebook says he might be from the north as his father knows how to speak ilocano, though his grand parents he knows had lived somewhere in Paco, Manila. Ilocano dialect huh?
And just like other clans with common last names, ours is different. It may had been distinguishably unique. Is searched the internet, and found that AROMIN may be a Japanese Last name, along with HIKORI and SANTAKA, as there are japanese with last names of ARO, AROMIN, HAROMIN, AROMINISAKO. Better ask your dads, and manage to see if your eyes are kinky or whatsoever. But I guess that's an invalid proposition at this point of time.
This website is very open for us to develop in the future, where are roots really come frrom. As for now, we're still on the first layer of hard brick, and the answer is at the top of the pyramid. Let's develop this and search for more inquiries. - BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE, BEFORE WE'LL BECOME A COMMON HOUSEHOLD LAST NAME.
